System Breakdown Emminent Posted Wednesday, March 27, 2002, 8:39PM by TylerL
"Every single website on the face of the planet is reporting that Anime News Network is reporting that Anime Daisuki is reporting that they somehow know that a second season of Big O will be airing in late 2002 with its premiere in the US.
There is no concrete information from Sunrise about this just yet. That's why it's not in Mr. InfoLink at the top of the page.
The Official Big O webpage says nothing about new episodes in production, and the airing schedule only lists the first 13 episodes.
Stop asking/telling us about it.

...in other news, my newest music video, Rabblerouser, will hopefully be airing at both Sakura-Con and Anime Central in April!
I'll be attensing Anime Central personally, but I won't be at Sakura-Con (no money, no time).
So...I'm gonna need someone to be a ""correspondent"" of sorts that'll tell me if the video was shown at the contest and if it was, how well it was received by the masses and if it won any awards, etc.
If you're attending Sakura-Con and would like to do this for me, please E-Mail me.

"In keeping with TDA tradition of reluctantly posting the Toonami game reviews, here's the Fifa 2002 review:

Zogg updated with media content? You lie! Posted Thursday, March 21, 2002, 11:15PM by Zogg
"Thanks to Captain NoBeard (swap the domain to email him, I've begun to realize how much spam an email link on our main page can generate) we now have 2 new files! First, the Beast Wars Intro is in the Almost Toonami Section. Some of you may remember when BeastWars was on Toonami for a week (I know I don't) so now's your chance to feel nostalgic. Secondly, the promo for the 6th episode of Reboot is now online! (Yes, this is months after airing.) Grab it from the Reboot section.
Kudos to NoBeard for sending me his tapes with these clips! Enjoy.
Update from Zogg the next day: I just wanted to comment apparently people REALLY like leeching the Fan Creations section in droves. We served out 16 gigs of data yesterday, which is a new record by far. In theory that average should go down, so hopefully we'll be able to make our average usage fall beneath the 400gig/month NetHopper has given us without needing to close stuff randomly. Hooray!

But the outdoors was so much more fun! Posted Wednesday, March 20, 2002, 10:06PM by Zogg
"Due an interesting, albeit still slightly up in the air, announcement by our webhost, we think that we now have 400 gigs of transfer per month! (100 more than we used to.) Woohoo!
Fan Creations is back up.
Go nuts.
Later.
Update from Tyler an hour later: Woo! More bandwidth! Thanks NetHopper! We love you!

Come back, Zogg!" Posted Friday, March 15, 2002, 9:24PM by TylerL
I added the Blue Sub 6 Toonami intro to its section.
Ugh. I need some sleep.

It's been 5 years. No...honest. Posted Thursday, March 14, 2002, 6:55PM by TylerL
The REAL 5th birthday promo aired today!
It goes over a lot of Toonami'S accomplishments for 2001/early 2002.
...and our present from them is a 3 hour Toonami tomorrow with a special airing of Blue Sub 6 at 4pm Eastern. Make sure you're watching CN an hour earlier tomorrow!

The Fall of a Tyrant, and the Return to Greatness" Posted Thursday, March 14, 2002, 3:35PM by TylerL
"Read this article!
Toonami will return to three hours this fall!
...with two brand new series! ""Transformers: Armada"" will premiere, along with ""He-Man and the Masters of the Universe"".
...the He-Man one isn't the old 80's version. It's a revival of the original He-Man franchise.
We're back to four hours of Toonami a day. Now all we need is the other 20 :)

You're watching Fox: We have no shame. Posted Tuesday, March 12, 2002, 12:06PM by TylerL
"Here's a great news byte to start your day...
20th Century Fox acquired the movie rights to Dragon Ball Z...to make live action films.
Some of you might remember the last attempt of a live action movie based on Dragon Ball was this HK action flick.
The thought of Live Action DBZ has traumatized me and causes me to scream out loud in my sleep.
...what this also might mean is that FUNimation is now unable to release any of the animate features on the big screen. That hasn't been made clear yet, though.

Thanks (I think) to ToonZone MB member AFXanatos for the tip.

The baby needs a spanking! Posted Sunday, March 10, 2002, 8:15PM by TylerL
I added a new section to the New Downloads section - Cartoon Roulette!
A whole bunch of the old Hanna Barbara action shows aired on Toonami from time to time a few years ago. It was a nice change of pace from all the semi-serious Anime series that fill most of the airwaves nowadays.
I have a new-found love for making fun of Birdman ^_^

Road again... on the road again... Posted Friday, March 8, 2002, 7:21PM by Zogg
"Tomorrow (woohoo! I spelled it right!) morning I leave for Spring Break. I'll be going skiing and learning for a week with my local Navigators group, and I'll be away from computers for precisely 1 week. What does this mean? It means don't email me and expect a reply... Tyler's got full reign of terror while I'm gone; so, uh... just do whatever he says. Yeah...

Later.
Update by Tyler 2 hours later: Ugh. But I don't wanna take care of the site alone...
Give me money.

I can add, really." Posted Wednesday, March 6, 2002, 10:24PM by Zogg
"Last month's financial records are now up. (A bit late due to exams for me.) You can grab the report here. Big thanks to everyone who doanted! Be sure to keep an eye on the donate-o-meter along the top to see our current donation status.

On another note, you'll notice that things in the New Downloads are beginning to contain Old Downloads. This is due to all the hardwork of the TDA Data Entry Monkeys (we'll make a credits page soon) who typed things into the database so Tyler and I could rearrange and generate pages. We should have everything shifted and completed within 2 weeks. WOOHOO!.

There's nothing wrong with us. THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH US! Posted Saturday, March 2, 2002, 11:02PM by TylerL
"I added the Slayers intro and the G-Gundam intro to the Almost Toonami section. Download and be merry.

On an unrelated note, WATCH THE ELTINGVILLE CLUB ON ADULT SWIM TOMORROW NIGHT! Go here for more info.

The Fan Creations section is offline again for a few days/weeks.
Sorry about that.
We gotta find a way to make it NOT kill us...
