THAT ain't good... Posted Thursday, August 31, 2000, 5:13PM by TylerL
"Well, it looks like our counter reset. It might take a while to get it back up (me thinks a much needed file disappeared), but we're working on it.

Update: It's fixed. I don't know what happened, but I managed to get it going it again. (Note to self... show Tyler where all the funky cgi stuff stores it's data.) --Zogg

No, I'm not a deadbeat webmaster..." Posted Thursday, August 31, 2000, 11:43AM by TylerL
"...I'm just insanely busy.
I've added a new mini-feature...pages from a Cartoon Newtork comic book with Moltar and Clyde49! It's in the Features section, of course.
And if I have the time, I'll upload the Jonny Quest section I've been promising tonight.

Get Ready Posted Tuesday, August 29, 2000, 2:27PM by Zogg
"DBZ Season 4 is on the way, and 2 more promos aired today. One for Frieza, and the other for a mystery guy. I wonder who he is... You can go snag those from the DragonBallZ section of the downloads. On a more commercial note, the new Cartoon Network Shop has Toonami gear! Now, everyone go buy a hat and t-shirt.

Update: DarkMaster just informed me that Tyler and I missed a commercial. It's more of an season 4 overall promo, so go get it now!

"Wow, we now have a domain name. Is that sweet or what! Fuitad.Net (our hosting provider) has been generous enough to give us a domain name, and host it as well! Everyone follow that link and check out the network, click on the banner ads, etc. What does all this mean? Well, it means that everyone needs to update their bookmarks and links. The old address will work for a while, but not forever so change those suckers soon. On a more Toonami related note, Tenchi in Tokyo had the same intro as Tenchi Universe, so there's nothing new to post. All well, maybe in September...

The Future is Now Posted Thursday, August 24, 2000, 5:52PM by Zogg
"Well, after a nice long afternoon of encoding and re-encoding, I finally got some working copies of today's ""Pardon Our Dust"" promo. The promo is full of action clips from quite a few Toonami shows, so be sure to check it out. This clip is available in 2 formats, the Quicktime format you see everywhere else on the site, and in the DivX ;-) mpeg4 format. The mpeg4 file is smaller, and the picture quality is much better, so go to the link above and download a player for your computer, then run to the Toonami download page and snag the DivX ;-) version of the file. If you like (or hate) the new format, send me an email and give me your thoughts.

Old school week redux? Posted Tuesday, August 22, 2000, 4:29PM by TylerL
"Uber-thanks to Meri of Temple of Trunks for giving us one of the old Cartoon Network promos for DBZ. It's in the DBZ downloads section, of course.
KrSkInG says he's ""cOoL"", but we all know the truth :)

Hey... Where did those go? Posted Sunday, August 20, 2000, 5:07PM by Zogg
"I just added the Tenchi in Tokyo promo that aired during The Rising Sun. I think you know where to go in order to find it. As always, keep email me those tips telling me when new Toonami clips were aired.

Hey, I made an archive." Posted Friday, August 18, 2000, 6:03PM by TylerL
"After playing with the NewsPro settings for a few weeks, I finally got it to make a news archive for our site. You'll find the link at the bottom of all the news. It ain't pretty, but it works.

Are we desperate? No, just trying to be complete." Posted Friday, August 18, 2000, 5:43PM by TylerL
"I've added a G-Force download section, and I should be getting a Jonny Quest section done in a few days.
This is a short message.

I'm Back! Posted Thursday, August 17, 2000, 11:07AM by Zogg
"My net connection is up and going, so I'm back. You can now send email to me and expect a reply. (Hooray) Anyway, I just added the Tenchi in Tokyo promo to the Tenchi section and another DBZ promo to the DBZ section. By the way, if you haven't read the TOM interview over at CN-X: Toonami then do so, it's a good read.

I can't believe I did this... Posted Wednesday, August 16, 2000, 3:02PM by TylerL
"I added a new rant-like thing to the Rants section. (Actually, it doesn't resemble a rant at all). It's the last one in the list.
Um...go look at it.

The beginning of TOM Posted Tuesday, August 15, 2000, 8:25PM by TylerL
"I uploaded the ""Introduction"" clip that was played when the new Toonami with TOM premeired. It's near the bottom of the Toonami Downloads section.

I'm opposed to most ad banners. Except ours. Posted Tuesday, August 15, 2000, 10:20AM by TylerL
"I finally got around to making a banner people can use to link to us. You can find it in the FAQ section, or right here.
Other sizes and styles will be coming soon.

College Rules Posted Tuesday, August 15, 2000, 7:48AM by Zogg
"Well, I succesfully made it to college, but the internet jack in my room probably won't be wired and ready to go for another week. So, that means I'm sort of here, and I'll check my email in a lab periodically, but I would still suggest you email Tyler if you want a fast response. On another note, I saw a cool new commercial for Tenchi in Tokyo, hopefully it'll air again today so I can capture that bad boy and get it uploaded. That's all for now, keep it real!

Wow. 10,000 hits already!" Posted Monday, August 14, 2000, 1:08PM by TylerL
"We've been around less than two months, and we've already racked up 10,000 hits. Thanks to all our loyal fans (and casual surfers who SHOULD be loyal fans). We're going to be adding a bunch of new stuff in the future, so keep stopping by. We've been updating just about everyday now, and that's something I hope we can do in the future. Well, I forgot what I was going to say, so...um...thanks for visiting!

This is quickly becoming a Moltar week... Posted Sunday, August 13, 2000, 9:38AM by TylerL
"Thanks to Negaverse23, I now have a promo for the Lunar Eclipse from May of 1999. It's in the Sailor Moon downloads section.

New old clip! Posted Saturday, August 12, 2000, 5:09PM by TylerL
"I found an OLD promo to Reboot from the good-ol' Moltar days. It's in the Reboot downloads section.

A quick desperate request: If anybody still has the Jonny Quest opening I had on my old site a few months back, I'd like if they could send me a copy. Can't release the new downloads section without it.

Woo! Party! I'm 18! Posted Saturday, August 12, 2000, 7:35AM by TylerL
"I turned 18 almost an hour ago, so I'm in a relatively good mood.

Turning 18 is fun. This weird blue mist surrounds you, and then in a flash of light, it's gone...and it magically leaves you with the maturity to smoke and vote.

Unfortunately, I won't be smoking or voting. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Now if only I could find out how to legally rip up this Draft Registration form...

It's still Friday where I live! Posted Friday, August 11, 2000, 6:35PM by TylerL
"I found, encoded and uploaded the SECOND opening to the FIRST Japanese Sailormoon series, and the first opening of Sailormoon R (The one I had up before was the second. Go figure). They're both in the Sailor Moon Downloads section.

12 hours, 4 minutes and counting...

Oh yeah... Posted Friday, August 11, 2000, 12:50PM by TylerL
"I updated the Vacation rant (aka Rant Without a Cause) last night.

I'm compressing some movies, and those should be up later tonight. (And I'll update the main page about it tonight too)

Alright! He left... Posted Thursday, August 10, 2000, 3:50PM by TylerL
"My week from hell is almost over, and to celebrate that and the absence of Zogg, I've updated the original Voltron opening. It looks a whole lot bigger and a whole lot better (And almost half the original size. Sorenson rules.)

I'm hoping to add more to my Vacation rant tonight, but it depends on how long my brother talks to his women from Pennsylvania. Later.

I'm going to be gone for a while Posted Thursday, August 10, 2000, 4:58AM by Zogg
"I'm going to be moving to an entirely different state starting today, so I may be away from the internet for as little as 3 days or as long as 2 weeks. You may want to direct all your emails towards him until I get back online. Oh yeah, don't let Tyler throw some kind of wild birthday party or something while I'm gone.

Aren't timezones great? Posted Tuesday, August 8, 2000, 1:12PM by Zogg
"I just finished capturing and uploading the latest ""Building You a Better Cartoon Show"" commercial. Go get it from the Toonami section, and enjoy the new footage!

Here it is Posted Monday, August 7, 2000, 1:53PM by Zogg
"I just finished capturing, compressing, and uploading the newest DBZ promo for Season 4. Go get it from the DBZ page. I also re-did the Tenchi Movie promos so they're higher quality, you can go get those from the Tenchi page. That's all for now, keep it real.

Another He is Coming Posted Sunday, August 6, 2000, 7:50PM by Zogg
"This is a fairly quick update to add in a quick preview of DBZ's newest super-hero, Trunks! If you want to know what all the hubbub is about, or just want to see a cool trunks promo then jump over the DBZ page and download this Trunks promo. On another note, Yes we know there's a Season 4 commercial on Toonami, and No we haven't captured it yet. Don't worry, though, it'll be coming here soon.

Pennsylvania sure loves them rumble strips... Posted Sunday, August 6, 2000, 6:43AM by TylerL
"I somehow made it back from the IGAEA conference in one piece. I was planning on staying in my dorm room curled up into a ball the entire time watching daytime TV, but I learned of some people that were doing a video compilation of the entire week. Now I actually had something to do, and the conference didn't suck so much.

iMovie is an impressive beast, but it's nowhere near as easy or as quick as Avid Cinema for VHS quality stuff. But iMovie IS the cheapest DV editor on the planet (free), and I got to use three G4s at the same time, so I can't complain too much. The entire video is on the server so I can get it on the IGAEA site quickly. Try to find it.

Huh? Toonami stuff? Oh yeah. I got some of that too. I started a new rant about Toonami stuff I saw and thought about on my vacation. The first part is in the Rants section.

One more thing... (There's always one more) This week's going to be pretty hard for me, and I don't know if I'll have time to update much until a week after tomorrow. Ok. I""m done.

I couldn't resist Posted Friday, August 4, 2000, 7:08PM by Zogg
"I was looking through the Tenchi movie DVD, and I found a nice set of Japanese trailers, so I ripped them. You can go download the trailers in one file over in the Tenchi section. I also updated the Features section but removing Tom's speeches (You can still find them in the Toonami section) and putting in the Sailor Moon episode: Darkness, My Old Friend. This one seems to be the climax of the Super series, so go download it if you missed it.

I just feel like talking Posted Wednesday, August 2, 2000, 8:10AM by Zogg
"I just fixed a broken link (and for some reason I can't seem to recall which one it was, I think it was the small batman opening.) In non-roonami related news, I built a new computer. This means that I can compress videos faster, and I might be able to do a few more things for the site. I'm also working on converting a few tapes to mpeg4, so you may see something premiering in the Features section very soon. (But first I need to encode and upload.) I hope Tyler is having fun at that conference... (Read his post below a laugh at his misfortune. Bwahaha)

Live, from Williamsport, it's Wednesday morning!" Posted Wednesday, August 2, 2000, 5:42AM by TylerL
"The conference is a little boring, mainly because there's nobody else here my age (All the people from last year disappeared for some odd reason), so I'm spending most of my time helping a few other people make a compilation video of the enire conference. It's quite funny, actually.

In TDA news, I fixed the two Batman game links. They should now link to Batman games and not Tenchi games.

Also, I'm seeing a lot of 404s in the error logs for files that I know are in the right place and have the right name. There are a few people who are loading an old page from cache and trying to download from links that were broken when that page was cached. Reload pages if links don't work. You'll probably get the files you want, and we'll have less trouble looking for broken links.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to Kneobel's to ride a few roller coasters...
