Atari's New/Old Dragonball Game Posted Tuesday, August 31, 2004, 10:34AM by TylerL
"Today (Tuesday, August 31), Atari will re-release ""Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout"" for the original Playstation.
For those who may not remember, this game was originally released in the U.S. back in the late '90s to lukewarm reviews, but due to its then limited release, the game quickly disappeared and used copies were selling for as much as $200.
Toei is providing a new cover for this release, though it appears everything else is to be left unchanged.
Toonami Clicks in the Phillipines Posted Monday, August 30, 2004, 11:34PM by meteo
"Toonami's airs around the world on various Cartoon Network's, yet we don't tend to hear much about Toonami outside the United States. Apparently it is at least doing well in the Phillipines where Cartoon Network is third ranked among all television networks. INQ7 reports that Toonami is one of the things on the network that clicked with viewers.
I guess it's time to remind you all again. Posted Monday, August 30, 2004, 5:49PM by Andromaton
"Toonami Infolink, its creators and their kin are not owned by, affiliated with, or bossed around by Williams Street, Cartoon Network, Turner Broadcasting, AOL Time Warner, Long John Silvers, Tremont Corp (they do something with titanium), or the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
Aparently a few people have forgotten about that.Click read more to read a few of the ""stories"" we have recieved from those who forgot.
PLEASE START UP RUROUNI KENSHIN!

it's been so long, NewsPro doesn't even know me :(" Posted Saturday, August 28, 2004, 9:23PM by TylerL
"3 weeks, eh?
Yeah. Let's see you try to work on reimaging 500 computers for 2,500 users, while devising a new method for automatic ""tab-keeping"" and individual post-imaging postflight scripts for naming based on MAC addresses and figuring out how to script Workgroup Manager (an unscriptable application) by mouse coordinates alone and fix bugs in the Offline user hack and set up an entirely new printing system for 45 LaserJets based on Dynamic DNS and managed printerlists on a User/Group/Computerlist basis...MEANWHILE, having 50 people still around school using the very system that's being uprooted every day and complaining about the unavailability of a wireless network in the midst of being replaced.
...not to mention shoehorning old Classic Mac OS 9 typing applications to work on OS X in a permissionless ""sandbox"" that technically refreshes itself after every login.
You should see all the awesome hacks I put in the /System folder. It's enough to make me start a website on that stuff alone...
And that's like, less than half of what I did.
I'll update TDA tomorrow.
One of the above.
In the meantime, visit ASF. I've been uploading the Case Closed Intros and Endings from the DVDs - all fixed up and ""original Japanese airing""-esque.
Samurai Jack says ČŘŌSayonaraČŘĚ with it's Final Four Posted Wednesday, August 25, 2004, 5:16PM by Andromaton
"The final four new episodes of Samurai Jack, the Emmy Award-winning animated series from Genndy Tartakovsky, will air Saturday, Sept. 25, during Toonami, Cartoon Network√Ę‚ā¨‚ĄĘs Saturday night destination for the best action and anim√ɬ© programming. Beginning at 7 p.m. (ET, PT), four new episodes of Samurai Jack will premiere. In between episodes of Samurai Jack, Cartoon Network will telecast a special presentation of all 20 chapters of Star Wars: Clone Wars, the epic micro-series produced and directed by Tartakovsky.
Will you answer the call? Posted Friday, August 20, 2004, 4:21PM by Andromaton
"The call of the Infolink. Think that you're just a reader and have nothing to help us out with? If you've seen a show or played a videogame that's just not true! I'd like to remind everyone that our review section is always hungry for more reviews by you the reader.
So, do you have a game (or a series or movie) to recommend people buy? How about one to stay the heck away from? Either way we want to hear some details on why from you.
Random, Quick Contest" Posted Monday, August 16, 2004, 8:27AM by Zogg
"Ok, so I've been checking my email lately and seeing this really annoying little sidebar that says ""invite 5 friends"". As such, I think it would be fun to get rid of that and reward TDA faithfuls. The first five people to use the ""Report a Commercial"" page to send in their name, email address, and a funny name for a dog get gmail accounts.
If you're in the top 5 but the dog name isn't funny, you don't win...
Update: All done. Thanks for the fun!
Here's the winning names:
Lil' Denver Pastrami
Mr. Nuttles Henry McKenzie III
Nope, this wasn't related to Toonami at all. Tyler will now proceed to shoot me. Bwaha
Update by Tyler: Bang.

"Some freakycrazy Teen Titans intro aired today. Someone put it out of its misery.
I've decided to NOT capture every variation of the JLU intro. It's not worth trying to archive every single intro.
If someone wants to make a site which DOES have all the intros, go nuts. But it won't be me.
Update: Better Cartoon Show Promo #0 now online.
